Pictured to the left is a rendering of the part files for the body and cap of the cologne bottle created in Solidworks. These are the parts that are incorporated into the assembly file of the cologne bottle. To create visual interest within the body of the bottle design, a clock face was created to base the cologne brand. In tandem with the theme of the body, the cap was designed to appear as multiple gears stacked on top of each other.

Pictured to the right are renderings of the assembly file, also done in Solidworks. The assembly consists of the part files for the body and cap of the cologne bottle, mated together so that they appear as a single entity. In Solidworks, the bottle can be viewed with the cap screwed fully on, and with the cap taken off of the bottle. The assembly of this bottle is very important not only to see the prototype visually, but also to use for a later package development step.

Above are the drawing files for the body and cap, also created in Solidworks. The drawing files are helpful for an overall view of each part of the bottle. Displayed in these files are 2D and 3D views of each part at multiple angles, as well as the overall and specific dimensions of the body and cap.

Above are pictures of the cologne bottle body and cap that were 3D printed in the Clemson University Makerspace. The part files for the body and cap were exported as .STL files for the 3D printing process. The options for colors were very limited, so yellow was chosen to attempt to fit with the company brand. In addition to the 3D printed component, a silver spray nozzle that matched the threading on the body was also provided. This way, the prototype is completely functional.
