Package Development
The sleek design of our cologne package was crafted in Artios CAD. The design is easy to open and features a cutout to where you can see the face of our product inside.
Featured above is the dieline for the package, created in Artios CAD. The type of package chosen was a tuck-top box, using 18-point paperboard for the material. After the package was formed using dimensions from the 3D Solidworks assembly file (converted into a Collada file), a simple circular cutout was added to the dieline. The cutout is meant to show part of the bottle to customers viewing it on the shelf. The part shown is a portion of the clock face. Overall dimensions are shown in the image above. More specific dimensions are available if the layer is unhidden in Artios CAD.
To the left is a 3D image of the cologne bottle inside the package. At this step, none of the graphics on the outside of the package have been created, so the box appears white. Jumping to the "Our Brand" tab of the website will show you the steps to adding graphics to the exterior of the package using Adobe Illustrator and ESKO Plug-Ins.
